Welcome to Ground Zero: Earthquake Intel, a high-fidelity seismic monitoring platform developed by Neuroxie Lab (hereinafter "the Developer", "we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy is a legally binding contract between you and the Developer. It provides an absolute disclosure of our technical operations, data collection methods, and security protocols.

2. Amendments & Mandatory Future Compliance

The Developer reserves the absolute right to modify, amend, replace, or update this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes may be prompted by evolving global privacy laws, technological advancements, or updates to the Google Play Developer Program Policies.

• Obligation to Stay Informed: Updates will be signaled by a change in the "Revision" and "Effective Date" at the top of this document. It is your sole responsibility to review this policy periodically.
• Continuous Agreement: Your continued use of the services following any modification constitutes your absolute and automatic acceptance of the new terms. You must obey all current and future iterations of this Privacy Policy as a strict condition of using our services. Failure to adhere to the most recent version of this policy terminates your legal license to use the application.

3. Eligibility & Age Restriction (16+)

In adherence to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and other international safety standards, this application is strictly not intended for a minor audience.

• Age Requirement: You must be at least 16 years of age to use Ground Zero. By proceeding, you warrant that you meet this age requirement.
• Strict Enforcement: We do not knowingly collect, store, or process information from children under 16. If we discover any data has been collected from a child under 16 without verifiable parental consent, we will execute an immediate purge of that data from our environment.

To deliver real-time seismic intelligence, calculate risk proximities, and maintain application integrity, we process the following data categories:

4.1 Location Intelligence

Ground Zero accesses high-accuracy GPS and network data to calculate your exact distance from seismic epicenters. This is used solely for core monitoring features and map rendering. While your location is transmitted to fetch relevant data, it is not stored permanently on our servers in an identifiable manner.

4.2 Hardware & Technical Identifiers

We use the Android ID as a persistent identifier to cryptographically link your lifetime premium purchase to your physical hardware. The Advertising ID is used via Google AdMob to deliver personalized ad experiences. You can reset or delete this ID in your Android system settings at any time.

5. System Permissions Matrix

Ground Zero requires the following system-level permissions to operate its Seismic Intelligence Protocol. Each permission is audited for absolute necessity:

• MANDATORYINTERNET: Used to fetch real-time earthquake data from global agencies (USGS, EMSC).
• FUNCTIONALLOCATION: Used to calculate epicenter distance and render positions on maps.
• ADSADVERTISING ID: Used to deliver personalized ads via Google AdMob to support the free version.
• PREMIUMBILLING: Used to process secure one-time payments for ad removal.

We leverage industry-leading partners to facilitate our services. These partners process data according to their own audited privacy policies:

• Google Play Billing: Handles all financial transactions. We never have access to your credit card or banking details.
• USGS & EMSC APIs: Public agencies from which we fetch seismic data. Your IP address may be visible to these agencies during API requests.

7. Advanced Security & Anti-Tamper Protocols

To protect our users and our intellectual property, Ground Zero implements high-grade security hardening:

• Signature Verification: The app periodically validates its own cryptographic signature. Tampered or modified versions are automatically disabled to prevent unauthorized distribution.
• Hardware Locking: Lifetime premium licenses are cryptographically locked to your device's unique hardware identifier (Android ID) to prevent license spoofing.
• Environment Sanitization: We perform root detection and custom ROM identification to identify compromised environments that could threaten data integrity or app security.
• Obfuscation: Our code is hardened using advanced R8 and ProGuard protocols to prevent reverse engineering of our security layers.

8. Data Sovereignty & User Rights

Depending on your location, you may have specific rights over your data:

• Right to Deletion: You can purge all data we have associated with your hardware by uninstalling the app and clearing its storage.
• Right to Opt-Out: You can reset or delete your Advertising ID via Android Settings at any time.
• International Transfers: By using the app, you consent to your data being processed on Google's global infrastructure, which may be located outside your home country.
